About

Sarah Sutter

CEO

Sarah thinks she has the best job in the world. What could be better than working with organisations and families to help children enjoy the experiences she had when she was a child, especially if it involves the sea and a fish? Sarah is a Netball Commonwealth Gold Medallist and a qualified PE teacher. She has a strong corporate background working with Qantas abroad and interstate and recently with the Adelaide Film Festival. Sarah would count her role as mum to Tom and Jazz, as her most important and rewarding role yet.

She is an experienced nature play and sustainability blogger, and enjoys getting down and dirty with her young ones as they develop their own special bonds with nature.

Julie Slaghekke

Operations Manager

Julie manages the Nature Play office and the Passport program. She has worked in senior administrative and marketing roles in both private enterprise and the public service. An organizer by nature, Julie loves providing the best service she can to anyone she deals with. She grew up on a farm surrounded by opportunities to experience nature play every single day. Mum to now three grownup children, she wishes they were still young enough so she had a legitimate excuse to make mud pies, have tea parties in a bush cubby and jump in puddles.
