ANGELA HANSCOM IN ADELAIDE // The Transformative Power of Outdoor Play

March 26 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Providing opportunity for children to experience the rough and tumble play of childhood is one of the most vital things we as educators, parents and clinicians can do for them.

Angela Hanscom, paediatric Occupational Therapist, author and founder of Timbernook, a highly successful, nature-based program for children promotes the outdoors as the ultimate sensory medium for children to challenge their bodies, their senses, their emotions and their social skills. In today’s busy, and structured routines, many of our children are missing out on these experiences, especially boys, yet it’s what they need most to support development, learning, behaviour and confidence.

Nature Play SA are offering an exciting, but limited opportunity to hear Angela Hanscom and Wendy Pirie on Tuesday 26 March, 1-4pm. Places are strictly limited and tickets will sell out fast, so be quick to secure your spot.
