NATURE PLAY EVENTS
Nature Play SA partners with councils, state government, education providers, local businesses, and corporate partners to deliver nature play events for local communities.
With a vision to connect children with nature through outdoor learning and play, we deliver events ranging from small school holiday programs, bespoke events, to major partnership events for thousands of families.
Our events engage families and groups in nature through play, creativity, curiosity, meaningful experiences in nature, and open-ended play.

2022 Salisbury Community Fun Day at St Kilda

In partnership with the Salisbury Lions Club, please join the City of Salisbury as they celebrate the 40-year anniversary of the St Kilda Adventure Playground. This exciting FREE event will be filled with a range of activities for children and families of all ages, as well as adventure-based fun, including a scavenger hunt!
Some of the activities on offer are:
– Nature Play SA – Geocaching, tinkering and potion making, seed bombs, bee hotels and more
– Mobile junk and nature playground
– Virtual Reality with Marine Discovery Centre
– St Kilda Tramway Museum
– Kite flying demonstrations
– Scavenger hunt
– Family friendly DJ
– Meet the Truck
When you arrive at the event, be sure to check in at the City of Salisbury information tent to collect your scavenger hunt kit!
Food and drink will be available for purchase including a sausage sizzle hosted by the Salisbury Lions Club, Golden Grove Lions donuts, Spuds & More, Cuppagino’s coffee and hotdogs and Tackle and Tucker ice cream cart and café.
Why not park your car at the Tramway Museum and enjoy a tram ride to the St Kilda Adventure Playground. Tram rides are free on this day. Or you can catch the free community bus to and from the event.
