Spend the afternoon outdoors at our scenic Botanic Garden headquarters as we teach your family the geocaching ropes and guide you on a path to adventure!

Geocaching is a fun and exciting high-tech treasure hunt that combines navigation technology with the excitement of an outdoor adventure. Working as a family or with your friends, you will be taught how to use hand-held GPS devices to locate hidden containers [geocaches] we have specially hidden in the Botanic Garden. This will be a fun, active afternoon that taps into your nature players’ problem-solving, team-work, and creative-thinking skills. Once the skill of geocaching is learned, nature players can then geocache in their own suburb, the wild, or anywhere in the world!

This Family Geoaching Adventure event is for children aged 4+ years and is adapted from our popular school program.

Please note: places are limited for this event and tickets are essential. Here are a couple of things that may come in handy when making your booking:

• This event is capped at 30 tickets to ensure small group sizes for your family to learn and explore
• Tickets must be booked prior to the event [no ticket purchases will be available on the day]
• Tickets are $12 per child [aged 4 years +]
• While our Nature Play educators and staff will be faciliating this event, attending children remain the responsibility of their parents / carers. Tickets for accompanying adult[s] are $5 each.
• Siblings 3 years and under accompanying paid children and adults are free [please be aware this will be an active afternoon and pram access will be available]
• Tickets are only valid for the day you have booked for
