NATURE PLAY EVENTS
Nature Play SA partners with councils, state government, education providers, local businesses, and corporate partners to deliver nature play events for local communities.
With a vision to connect children with nature through outdoor learning and play, we deliver events ranging from small school holiday programs, bespoke events, to major partnership events for thousands of families.
Our events engage families and groups in nature through play, creativity, curiosity, meaningful experiences in nature, and open-ended play.

Family Nature Walk in Scott Creek Conservation Park: Bandicoots, birds, and wildflowers
Sunday 25 September
Session One: 9.30am to 10.30am
Session Two: 10.45am to 11.45am
Cost: $5 per person
Take a guided family nature walk through endangered bandicoot habitat where you’ll learn to identify marsupials by their tracks, scats and appearances, we’ll also learn common bush birds and wander along paths and discover unique wildflowers with fascinating stories of pollination. Meet at Almanda carpark on Dorset Vale Road.
This project is being funded by the Department of Environment and Water’s Nature-based Tourism Small Grants Program.
Amenities: there are no toilets or facilities in the Conservation Park, however Scott Creek Oval is a short drive away and has toilets.
Note: the walk has slightly elevated areas.
