Whittle + Weave at Wittunga [Booked Out]
October 11, 2017 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Spend a morning outdoors at our scenic Nature Play SA headquarters as our team guides your nature players in the arts of weaving and whittling!
Children will be empowered to whittle their own sticks and craft a naturally woven creation to take home. This special event is targeted at children aged 6+ years and is adapted from our popular school program. Our beautiful loose parts bell tent will also feature on the day, along with an area for construction and free play with large natural loose parts for younger children accompanying registered siblings on the day. You’re welcome to bring a picnic and explore the Botanic Garden after your session!
Please note: places for participants and accompanying siblings are limited and tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite. Here are a couple of things that may come in handy when making your booking!
- This event is capped at 30 children for whittling and weaving to ensure small group sizes for your children to learn, enjoy and relax. Bookings for accompanying younger siblings are also limited to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of attending families.
- Tickets must be booked prior to the event [no ticket purchases will be available on the day]
- Tickets for the whittle and weave session are $18 per child. Tickets for younger children accompanying their participating siblings are $5 per child [full access to natural loose parts play and construction area].
