PARTNER WITH US
A key part of our success as a not-for-profit organisation is the partnerships we’ve formed and collaborative projects and events that we’ve delivered.
We’ve partnered with local and state governments, universities, national and local organisations, and other not-for-profits. Have a read of the opportunities and get in touch so we can explore some ideas. If you’re interested in what our achievements have been take a look at our latest achievement report.
Throughout the year Nature Play SA brings South Australian families a series of popular seasonal events in locations ranging from national parks and forests, to local reserves, natural play spaces and botanic gardens. We collaborate with government and other key partners to get children and families outdoors, activate spaces, and promote the value and importance of nature play for today’s generation of children.
In the three years since our organisation started, we’ve coordinated and attended more than 50 events for an incredible 75,000 people, surpassing our own expectation at the interest and growing demand for these outdoor play opportunities for South Australian children.
Our signature events include the Nature Play Festival, Cubby Town, International Mud Day celebrations, and the Nature Play Forest Festival. We’ve also partnered with Councils and corporate sponsors including OMO, ASG, and Project Dirt to deliver major nature play and outdoor learning events for families and schools.
Our family events focus on providing nature play experiences and letting today’s kids ‘be kids’ – giving them the freedom to be wild, get dirty, play freely, and create memories of quality time in nature with friends and loved ones. Our event activity offerings are inspired by the event location, seasons and nature play principles, and can include cubby building, mud and clay-based play, natural loose parts play, nature crafts, low ropes courses, orienteering and much more.
Our events aim to provide leadership, inspiration and empowerment to the community, so that unstructured play in nature becomes an everyday part of life for the next generation.
