At Wild Imagination your kids will enjoy mud play, nature crafts, loose parts play, potion making, cubby building and lots of open-ended fun! You can make a dream catcher, create rock paint, or brew a magic potion with flowers and herbs. For primary school aged children, the Kids Only days are a GREAT alternative to Vacation Care. Parents can 'drop and go', and kids get to spend the whole day playing outside and will also learn about sustainability.

Zoos SA Mythical Creatures – 2017 Spring school holiday program

These school holidays we are asking visitors (and staff!) to let their imagination run wild at Adelaide & Monarto as we celebrate mythical creatures! We are having some fun with the weird and wonderful while visitors learn more about the zoo’s real residents. The fantastical fun includes specially-themed activity trails, children's craft activities, Nature Theatre presentations and extra keeper presentations!

North Terrace Tree Trail

The North Terrace Tree Trail is a celebration of street trees in our city and the many benefits they provide! The trail showcases 20 amazing trees in the heart of our city along North Terrace between Kintore Avenue and Frome Road. Pick up or print out the North Terrace Tree Trail Wayfinding Map and Activity Sheet and follow the trail to meet the trees and learn about how trees cool our city, provide shade, habitat, clean air and much much more!

Come to a free pop-up workshop as part of the Art Gallery of SA's START program and have fun designing a tree character which could be chosen to be installed on one of the trees on the North Terrace Tree Trail!
