22 Aug Arid Explorers
The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden has created an “Arid Explorers Children’s Garden”, a free nature play garden which provides a fun and educational play space for children to spend time outdoors learning about the flora, fauna and environments found in Australia’s Arid Lands regions. This is an enclosed garden with lots of fun opportunities for climbing, building, balancing, playing in the “big red” sand pit, exploring and being creative. We also have the Children’s Discovery Walk where you can explore the eremophila garden and discover the hidden rusty animals hiding among the bushes. Start at the Visitor Centre and collect an animal discovery brochure from the gift shop so children can mark off the animals as they find them. Ideal for children aged 2-12 and a wonderful way for families to explore the garden.
