From the ashes: a walk in to explore fire recovery in Scott Creek Conservation Park

Join the Friends of Scott Creek Conservation Park, National Parks and Wildlife Rangers, Green Adelaide Senior Ecologist Jason Van Wienan and Nature Play SA’s Jason Tyndall as we tour post-fire grounds where we will explore concepts of: fire ecology; colonising species; changes in habitat composition; and what the future looks like for the biodiversity of Scott Creek Conservation Park.

This event is a collaboration between Nature Play SA, Green Adelaide, National Parks and Wildlife South Australia, and Friends of Parks.

Session times :

12.00 to 1.15pm

1.45pm to 3.00pm

3.30pm to 4.45pm

Here are a couple of things that may come in handy when making your booking:

This sessions are capped at 25 attendees.

Sessions are $10 + GST and BF

Tickets must be booked prior [no tickets will be available on the day]

All attending adults and children require their own ticket.

This walk is recommended anyone interested in fire ecology and post-fire regeneration
